Software Engineer – VPN & PKI, Network Security

Design, develop, debug, and enhance software systems including operating systems, networking, utilities, and databases.

Lead project teams comprising internal and outsourced developers to build reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality software solutions for subsystems or portions of systems software.

Communicate and collaborate with management and partners on design status, project progress, issue resolution, and provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced engineers.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

6–10 years of software development experience, particularly in C/C++ programming and Linux/Unix environments.

Strong hands-on experience with VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL/TLS), PKI, and networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and routing protocols.

Ability to work in a hybrid model with ~2 days per week onsite at HPE office.

Experienced in leading software development projects involving networking and security technologies with an ability to manage cross-functional teams including outsourced partners.

Strong technical expertise in system-level software design, Linux/Unix platforms, and networking protocols aligned with VPN and PKI solutions.

Effective communicator capable of conveying complex technical designs and negotiating at management levels to ensure alignment and project success.
