About This Role
- Lead architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, reliable large-scale data platform systems for cybersecurity telemetry data processing.
- Drive cross-team technical direction, influence architectural decisions, and establish engineering best practices and reusable frameworks.
- Take full ownership of solutions from design through deployment and operational support, proactively managing risks and technical debt across multiple teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-13 years of experience working on backend or distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in designing and operating large-scale big data systems with deep understanding of distributed systems and scalable data architectures.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, strong SQL skills, and experience with Elasticsearch, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native architectures on AWS.
- Experience with Kubernetes, containerized environments, and software quality practices including automated testing and observability.

- Proven ability to lead complex, high-impact technical initiatives with significant autonomy and navigate ambiguous situations effectively.
- Experienced in mentoring and elevating engineering teams across multiple groups, influencing beyond a single codebase.
