About This Role
- Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team specializing in Data and AI within a Digital Innovation Centre.
- Oversee engineering discipline including capability building, mentoring, demand management, and ensuring alignment to technical and quality standards in a matrix organization.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives such as process improvement, skill development, technology adoption, and contribute to strategic technology and capability discussions.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience including minimum 3 years in an engineering management or people leadership role.
- Strong background in data engineering, data science, or analytics with knowledge of Databricks, Python, Spark, Power BI, SQL, ML and Generative AI frameworks/concepts.
- Hands-on familiarity with modern cloud (Azure preferred) and DevOps ecosystems, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, test automation, and cloud-native development.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written). Work Experience Required: 10+ years including 3+ years in engineering management.
