About This Role
- Translate customer requirements into software design for networking features including IPv4/IPv6/MPLS, SRv6, EVPN-VxLAN, Multicast, Firewall, DHCP, and Services.
- Develop, debug, and enhance complex packet forwarding features and microkernel/Linux components related to datapath forwarding.
- Support existing features, automate unit tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical and customer issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python with proven debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong networking background; prior experience with software development on routers, switches, and datapath ASICs (e.g., Broadcom, Mellanox, Innovium, Barefoot) is highly desirable.
- Work location: Onsite at HPE office in India.
