About This Role
- Design, develop, integrate, and maintain POS and payment applications for Android-based payment terminals across the full software stack from payment processing to Android app development.
- Implement ISO 8583 messaging, Terminal Management Systems (TMS), and integrate payment SDKs, device SDKs, and hardware APIs ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable POS payment solutions.
- Lead debugging, root-cause analysis, code reviews, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams for high-quality delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise with POS/payment systems and related technologies including ISO 8583, Terminal Management Systems (TMS).
- Proficient in C, C++, Java, Kotlin, and Android application development with MVVM architecture.
- Experience with REST API integration, Android SDK, development tools (Android Studio, Visual Studio, Git, Postman).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in end-to-end development of POS/payment solutions spanning embedded payments and Android applications.
- Strong technical leadership demonstrated by mentoring and ownership of complex debugging and integration challenges.
- Background in fintech, banking, retail, or transaction-processing systems with working knowledge of payment terminal environments.
