About This Role
- Maintain and secure Red Hat/Linux environments including patching, upgrades, and rollbacks with a focus on system stability and security compliance.
- Develop, deploy, and manage Docker containers and images including writing Dockerfiles, handling upgrades/rollbacks, and configuring container networking.
- Lead technical mentorship, drive architectural improvements, lead incident response, and manage complex project deliveries ensuring quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years total work experience with minimum 3-4 years in Linux administration and 3-4 years in Docker/container technologies.
- 3-4 years experience in shell scripting and Ansible automation.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Tech) in Computer Science or related field with Computer Science as a core subject.
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) preferred but not explicitly mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced Linux administrator with strong expertise in Docker containerization and automation using shell scripting and Ansible.
- Someone capable of providing technical leadership, driving platform architecture improvements, and handling incident response.
- Comfortable working in Azure cloud infrastructure and familiar with platform operations including Kubernetes and GitOps (mentioned as basic requirements).
