Minimum Requirements

Typically 8-12 years of relevant work experience in software engineering, particularly in network security or networking software.
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SSL/TLS inspection.
Role requires onsite work primarily from an HPE office location.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in developing both control plane and data plane software components for network security products, especially Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW).
Skilled in building and operating scalable distributed microservices in cloud-native environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and container networking.
Familiar with high-performance packet processing frameworks (e.g., DPDK) and deep packet inspection concepts, with a proficiency in troubleshooting and performance optimization in production.
