Drive day-to-day system and service engineering operations for Fibre services including planning, design, and updating Fibre assets in GIS tools.
Coordinate with on-shore field engineers and suppliers to complete assigned tasks maintaining 100% SLA and FTR adherence.
Prepare and present reports, handle customer KPIs, and engage actively in customer and internal meetings.
Minimum Requirements
Technical/Engineering degree mandatory.
1-5 years of relevant work experience in fibre network design and operations.
Mandatory skills in optical fiber networks, telecom network architecture, geographical information systems (GIS such as Smallworld and AutoCAD).
Experience with fibre planning, design, as-built documentation, supplier management, and using tools like Smallworld – PNI & NIG, GSA Standard, COPS/Mori/Cramer, SOM/CPS, MapAll, BTOR Portal.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in fibre network planning, design, documentation (HLD, LLD, as-built), and inventory management systems.
Skilled in solving complex engineering problems applying engineering and economic principles within telecom fibre networks.
Able to engage effectively in multi-level communication with on-shore/off-shore stakeholders and manage supplier coordination and customer interactions.
