About This Role
- Implement architectural designs and build specification documentation for the Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP).
- Manage lifecycle activities including non-disruptive platform upgrades and performance tuning to ensure platform scalability and reliability.
- Design and execute compute cluster scaling and support automation efforts for orchestration and performance monitoring.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of total experience including 3+ years hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP) in enterprise or service-provider settings.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), hypervisor tuning, and OpenStack Director / TripleO deployment.
- Technical skills in Ansible, Python scripting, SDN topologies, OVN/OVS, BGP/MPLS, DPDK/SR-IOV, and storage technologies like Ceph and NFS.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in enterprise-level RHOSP platform design, deployment, and lifecycle management with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Strong background in network engineering, particularly with SDN, network function virtualization, and data path acceleration technologies.
- Capable of integrating backend infrastructure services, ensuring platform security compliance, and supporting transition strategies towards OpenShift.
