About This Role
- Develop and enhance complex packet forwarding software features across IPv4/IPv6/MPLS, SRv6, EVPN-VxLAN, Multicast, Firewall, DHCP, and related networking protocols.
- Analyze, debug and resolve complex microkernel/Linux issues and improve automation through unit testing enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and customer-facing teams to deliver high-quality software products and support field-level customer issues to drive satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python with solid networking knowledge.
- Must work onsite at an HPE office as the role is designed for onsite work.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in software development for network devices such as routers and switches.
- Prior exposure to datapath ASICs like Broadcom, Mellanox, Innovium, Barefoot or other NPUs is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage software projects with timely delivery and high quality, with good communication and teamwork skills.
