About This Role
- Lead technical strategy and design for large-scale, distributed infrastructure systems impacting multiple teams.
- Design, implement, and optimize high-scale distributed systems focusing on performance, security, compliance, and observability.
- Mentor engineering teams, communicate with stakeholders, contribute to and influence open-source projects, and automate production support tasks.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in object-oriented and/or functional programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Scala.
- Hands-on experience developing distributed systems, large-scale systems, databases, or backend APIs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid work).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting, building, and running large-scale distributed systems at scale.
- Has worked with big data ecosystem technologies (Hadoop, Kafka, Iceberg, Spark, etc.) and open-source infrastructure projects.
- Capable of shaping technical culture, mentoring engineers, and driving innovation while collaborating across teams and open-source communities.
