About This Role
- Build and lead a high-performing Platform Engineering team in Bangalore focused on Java developer platforms, frameworks, and CI/CD capabilities.
- Own technical leadership for architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, reliable, and secure platform services using technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tools.
- Collaborate with global teams (US, Shanghai, India) to align technical strategy, enhance developer productivity, and establish engineering excellence and operational ownership culture.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience leading software engineering teams delivering large-scale platforms or distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Maven, REST services, and microservices architecture.
- Experience building developer platforms, reusable frameworks, CI/CD platforms, or infrastructure tooling (beyond just application microservices).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, automation, observability, and CI/CD; Tekton and Kafka experience is a plus.
