About This Role
- Manage end-to-end procurement of textile processing chemicals, dyes, auxiliaries, ensuring timely availability for production and business needs.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and annual rate agreements with suppliers to optimize costs.
- Develop and maintain reliable supplier base, monitor market trends, and coordinate cross-functionally for procurement planning and issue resolution.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement of chemicals, preferably in textile processing, dyes & auxiliaries, or manufacturing.
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Textile Chemistry, or related field.
- Location requirement: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (Corporate Naroda location).
- Work Experience Required: 5–10 years in relevant chemical procurement roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in chemical procurement within textile processing domain with strong vendor management and cost negotiation skills.
- Able to analyze chemical specifications, quality parameters, and commercial terms for supplier evaluation.
- Proven ability to manage supply continuity and coordinate across production, R&D, quality, stores, and finance functions.
