About This Role
- Lead design, development, and delivery of Windows-based high-throughput, low-latency sortation and labeling systems integrating with PKMS/WMS, PLCs, and material handling equipment.
- Own application health in production, including monitoring, alerting, incident triage, and root-cause resolution during peak fulfillment periods.
- Collaborate with Distribution Center operations, Supply Chain, and third-party vendors to translate operational requirements into scalable technical solutions with AI and automation enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
- 10–15 years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a technical lead or staff-level role.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework 4.8, multithreading, async programming, TCP/IP sockets, and Windows Service/desktop application development (WPF).
- Experience in warehouse automation, material handling equipment integration (Savoye, Opex, Honeywell Intelligrated, Boxer, print-and-apply systems), and working with WMS/PKMS systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale .NET applications within retail, supply chain, or logistics environments, especially warehouse and distribution center operations.
- Strong technical leadership skills with ability to mentor engineers, define engineering standards, and drive cross-functional vendor collaboration.
- Experience leveraging AI and automation to improve warehouse operations, production support, and operational analytics, with situational leadership in Agile delivery settings.
