Product Manager title is popular but strong travel-domain requirements narrow applicant pool.
Role requires travel-technology domain expertise and OTA experience, limiting industry transferability.
Explicit years, mandatory travel domain experience, and technical API skills create strict screening.
Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and KPIs for B2C OTA platforms, B2B agent portals, and Corporate Travel Management Systems.
Manage product modules including flight, hotel, holiday packages, and pricing logic, focusing on conversion rate, UX, SEO, API integrations, and automation.
Lead cross-functional coordination with business, development, QA, and vendors to ensure system performance, compliance, and continuous revenue optimization.
8-10 years overall experience with 5-8 years in Product Management/Product Ownership.
Mandatory domain experience in Online Travel, OTA, Travel Technology, TMC, Airline, Hotel, Hospitality, or Travel Marketplace.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; MBA/PGDM in Product Management, Technology, Business, or Travel Management is a plus.
Strong technical skills with REST APIs, API documentation (Postman, Swagger), travel booking ecosystems, and knowledge of GDS/NDC systems.
Experienced in managing B2C, B2B, and Corporate travel technology products with hands-on knowledge of booking flows and supplier integrations.
Strategic operator with ability to translate business goals into technical requirements, prioritizing automation, scalability, and cross-team collaboration.
Familiar with project management tools (JIRA, Asana) and data-driven product decision-making using analytics tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel.
