Principal Network Security Engineer

Lead and define network security architecture across hybrid environments including data centres, cloud, edge, and remote access.

Design and implement trust boundaries, segmentation, connectivity patterns, and network controls to reduce security risks.

Drive complex technical initiatives, migrations, and architecture decisions balancing security, reliability, performance, and operations; mentor engineers and influence cross-team technical direction.

10+ years experience in Network Security Engineering, Network Architecture, or Security Engineering with enterprise-scale architecture ownership.

Deep expertise in network security fundamentals including routing, switching, DNS, NAT, segmentation, trust boundaries, and traffic control design.

Strong experience securing hybrid environments, specifically with AWS networking and security.

Experience with enterprise firewall technologies, security automation, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and policy governance.

Senior technical leader capable of influencing enterprise-scale security architecture and cross-functional teams.

Expertise in hybrid infrastructure security spanning on-premise data centres and cloud (in particular AWS).

Comfortable leading large-scale initiatives that involve architecture tradeoffs balancing security, performance, and operational requirements.
