About This Role
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent software implementation projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
- Build and scale BMI's software implementation project management function, establishing standards, processes, and mentoring junior personnel to create a repeatable and teachable delivery capability.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical specialists and client-service leadership, proactively managing risks, scope, and project communication to ensure successful outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in software/SaaS implementation, technology consulting, or technology project management with significant client implementation responsibility.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills, with experience communicating professionally with North American business clients.
- Experience coordinating technical teams such as developers and consultants, with strong understanding of scope, effort, timelines, dependencies, and risk management.
- Must have working hour overlap with Alberta Time (UTC -6) to support client meetings and coordination; Zoho or similar business-software platform experience preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced implementation project leader who can independently own end-to-end delivery and build scalable project management practices from scratch.
- Comfortable assessing and improving existing processes, mentoring junior staff, and decentralizing knowledge to reduce reliance on a single individual.
- Technical literacy sufficient to collaborate effectively with technical teams and distinguish between technical, planning, and execution problems impacting project delivery.
