Software Engineering Manager, Systems Infrastructure

Manage and develop engineering teams responsible for design, architecture, and coding of LinkedIn infrastructure and platform products.

Lead scaling of distributed applications, architectural trade-offs, and deliver high-quality, reliable, user-centric multi-tier systems operating 24x7.

Participate in senior management technology roadmap planning and foster cross-team technical collaborations.

BS in Computer Science or related field.

Minimum 8 years relevant software engineering experience.

At least 1 year management experience or staff level engineering with management training.

Hands-on experience with distributed systems, large-scale systems, databases, or Backend APIs.

Experience managing small to medium engineering teams and delivering large-scale, cross-team projects.

Proven track record of defining and executing technical strategies and roadmaps.

Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring engineers and partnering with recruiting to build engineering teams.
