Strong brand, metro location, mid-level generalist analytics title, broad skills and product impact yield high competition.
Role requires fintech/UPI regulatory knowledge and payments experience, so industry fit is highly sensitive.
Explicit 7–9 years, mandatory payments/UPI experience, SQL/tooling, and team leadership create highly stringent filters.
Own end-to-end analytics for one or more UPI product surfaces, including metric definition, data instrumentation, and insight generation.
Lead and manage a team of analysts to set priorities, ensure analytical rigor aligned with NPCI regulatory standards, and improve the quality of analytics outputs.
Drive experimentation design and evaluation (A/B tests), build self-serve dashboards, monitor platform reliability metrics, and support UPI product growth through data-driven insights.
7-9 years of analytics/data experience focused on consumer-facing or fintech products; payments or UPI experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency in SQL and product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude); working knowledge of Python/R for statistical analysis.
Experience in experimentation design including hypothesis framing, sample size/power calculation, and interpreting A/B test results.
Experience managing or mentoring analytics teams with strong communication skills to present findings to leadership.
Experienced in handling large-scale transaction data and building end-to-end metrics frameworks with strong data governance and quality control.
Skilled in translating complex, ambiguous business questions into structured analytics that drive product and growth decisions for digital payments or fintech.
Comfortable working in a regulated environment involving NPCI or UPI reporting and analytics mandates with ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and business teams.
