About This Role
- Own end-to-end functional management and configuration of Workday HCM and Payroll business processes for a Florida-based school partner.
- Ensure data accuracy, audit-ready processes, and continuous improvements across hire-to-retire and payroll lifecycles, including compensation, absence, benefits, and recruiting workflows.
- Manage system updates, troubleshoot issues, coordinate across HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, vendors, and support biannual Workday software releases.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on Workday HCM experience with direct ownership of business process configuration including routing, conditions, and validations.
- Production Workday Payroll experience, including parallel testing and pay calculation validation.
- Workday Payroll and HCM certifications required.
- Experience with higher education HR processes and compliance reporting including ACA (1094-C/1095-C) support.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex Workday configurations encompassing Core HCM, compensation, absence, benefits, and security roles with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Familiar with integration tools such as EIBs, data validation, data conversion, and related systems like ADP, applicant tracking systems, Okta, and ServiceNow.
- Comfortable supporting regulated environments with audit-ready process governance and adept at managing changes across biannual Workday release cycles.
