About This Role
- Manage installation, configuration, maintenance, and decommissioning of enterprise firewall solutions (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, cloud firewalls) across hybrid public cloud environments.
- Plan and execute firewall upgrades, patches, migrations, new implementations, and enforce security policies aligning firewall rules to defined standards.
- Develop automation scripts, use AI-assisted tools to improve monitoring, capacity analysis, and operational workflows; troubleshoot routing, connectivity issues including BGP/OSPF and VPN; participate in audits and 24x7 on-call rotations.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years hands-on firewall engineering experience on at least one major platform (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and/or cloud firewalls).
- 3+ years of formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts with applied experience.
- Proficiency with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), scripting/automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform), and Linux command-line troubleshooting.
- Experience working within large enterprise network environments with security focus; use of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for infrastructure workflows.

- Skilled in automation and AI-augmented monitoring with validated, resilient, and secure implementation practices.
