About This Role
- Design, extend, and optimize a large-scale, highly scalable, fault-tolerant backend system handling billions of events with sub-second latency.
- Architect and implement security products to protect customer data while writing secure-by-design hardened software.
- Solve real-world scaling problems through performance analysis and troubleshooting within a modern microservices stack (Go, Kubernetes, BigTable, BigQuery, Spanner, Redis).
Minimum Requirements
- Experience developing backend systems in Go at large scale with significant architectural contributions.
- Hands-on experience with microservices and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with large databases and distributed code profiling and optimization is required.
- Location requirement: Bangalore (India location) or remote for EU-based candidates.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Has a strong track record of building and extending large-scale backend applications, preferably with experience in GCP services.
- Experienced in handling secure software processing untrusted data and integrating at API level with enterprise SaaS applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with distributed teams and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
