About This Role
- Own end-to-end platform engineering initiatives including designing and operating infrastructure for a large EKS Kubernetes environment running CI workloads and AI agent platforms.
- Architect and maintain AWS production systems using advanced Terraform modules and manage GitLab CI and self-hosted runners to ensure secure and reliable code delivery.
- Develop internal services, APIs, and automation tools in Go or Python; collaborate with security and SRE teams to embed security and reliability guardrails; lead technical reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps with proven independent delivery of complex projects.
- Must be proficient in Kubernetes (EKS), AWS infrastructure, Terraform, GitLab CI, and automation using Go or Python.
- Work onsite in Petaling Jaya; comfortable working in a geographically distributed team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced platform engineer familiar with large-scale Kubernetes (EKS) operations and AWS multi-account environments using Terraform.
- Strong coding ability in Go or Python targeted at building platform-level APIs, controllers, and automation with a focus on reliability and security.
- Able to navigate cross-functional collaboration with security, SRE, and product teams and lead technical standards and mentorship in a dynamic infrastructure setting.
