About This Role
- Develop and maintain automation solutions, business applications, and dashboards using VBA, RPA, SQL, Python, and Microsoft Office tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Create, test, and deploy reporting applications and manage API integrations including AI-assisted automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, resolve issues, document processes, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer.
- Advanced skills in Excel/VBA, Microsoft Office automation, RPA/Power Automate, SQL, Python, and MIS reporting tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Willingness to work day shifts with flexibility to work night shifts if required; located in Chennai.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in end-to-end automation and business process optimization within technical or manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in integrating APIs, including REST APIs and handling JSON/XML data formats, with familiarity in AI-assisted automation and large language model technologies.
- Able to operate independently on technical development while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams for business-driven automation initiatives.
