About This Role
- Build and evolve the core framework that creates and orchestrates agentic systems used in production across Lyric.
- Design and implement production-grade agentic loops, tools, abstractions, and execution patterns supporting multiple agent use cases.
- Own end-to-end engineering problems from approach design to implementation, contributing original ideas and evaluating emerging AI techniques for production use.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 4–6 years of software engineering, with significant hands-on production experience building agentic systems or applications.
- Technical skills: Proficient in Python; experience with agent frameworks, orchestration, multi-step execution, or similar agentic architectures in production environments.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and a demonstrated ability to independently solve ambiguous engineering problems and ship working systems.
- Work Experience Required: Real production experience building agentic systems, not just personal projects or proofs of concept; exact tech stack knowledge not mandatory as long as underlying agentic concepts are well understood.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Engineer with demonstrated ability to invent and implement new agentic software infrastructure rather than just applying existing frameworks or models.
- Experience working at the intersection of backend or full-stack development and applied AI, comfortable navigating rapidly evolving technical architectures and emerging AI research.
- Proactive in experimenting with and adopting new agentic techniques ahead of standards, capable of translating ambiguous problems into functioning scalable systems without step-by-step guidance.
