About This Role
- Lead Point of Presence (PoP) builds including overseeing network go-lives and circuit turn-ups.
- Create and maintain high-level and low-level network design documentation (HLD/LLD).
- Manage data center to PoP migrations ensuring minimal downtime.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering.
- Experience with network operations and service optimization in large-scale, multi-vendor, multi-site, international environments.
- Expertise in WAN circuits and protocols (SR-TE, MPLS, DWDM, DMVPN) and dynamic IP routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, BGP).
- Proficiency in network operating systems including Linux, Cumulus, Cisco IOS, Arista OS and networking virtualization/overlay technologies (VxLAN, MP-BGP, VRFs).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex network infrastructure projects involving vendor collaboration for circuit delivery and migrations.
- Capable of designing and documenting sophisticated network architectures using HLD/LLD standards.
- Holds or is close to CCIE or equivalent certifications, indicating advanced technical expertise in network engineering.
