About This Role
- Develop and implement the communication and media strategy to optimize impact of AKAH India’s programs.
- Manage all digital and traditional communication channels including website, social media, newsletters, and publications.
- Coordinate creative direction and ensure brand consistency, including liaison with PR agencies and internal teams for content creation and dissemination.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar communications role.
- Master’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a relevant field.
- Strong proficiency in English writing, editing, and communication practices including social media tools and strategies.
- Domain knowledge in urban and climate studies: added advantage but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing organizational communication strategies with measurable impact on stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to lead multi-channel content creation and digital asset management with attention to brand alignment.
- Comfortable working with senior management and coordinating across departments and external agencies.
