About This Role
- Lead PoP (Point of Presence) build projects and create/maintain high-level and low-level design documentation.
- Manage network operations tasks including Nautobot updates, circuit turn-ups, network go-lives, and data center to PoP migrations minimizing downtime.
- Oversee network service optimization in a large-scale, multi-vendor, international environment to ensure high availability.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of network engineering experience.
- Expertise with WAN circuits and protocols: SR-TE, MPLS, DWDM, DMVPN.
- Proficiency in dynamic IP routing protocols: OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, BGP.
- Experience with network operating systems: Linux, Cumulus, Cisco IOS, Arista OS and virtualization/overlay technologies: VxLAN, MP-BGP, VRFs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing large-scale, multi-site international network infrastructure and vendor collaborations for circuit delivery and migrations.
- Ability to execute complex projects like data center-to-PoP migration with minimal downtime and oversee network go-lives.
- Certifications such as CCIE or equivalent are advantageous indicating advanced expertise.
