About This Role
- Build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines to deliver accurate, timely data to analytics and product teams.
- Design and implement dimensional data models and transformations, collaborating with senior engineers and documenting technical designs.
- Apply HIPAA and PII compliance patterns, manage data quality tests and monitoring, and handle on-call responsibilities with runbook improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 3+ years of data engineering experience.
- Experience with distributed systems processing, database design, data warehousing (star/snowflake schemas), and OLTP/OLAP stores including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift.
- 1+ years experience building data pipelines using Spark, Kafka, Airflow and designing/implementing data warehouse models and ELT/ETL pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proficient in building and tuning complex data pipelines and dimensional data models with clear documentation and communication.
- Experienced working in healthcare-compliant environments with HIPAA/PII data handling.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams and participating in on-call rotations.
