About This Role
- Lead end-to-end payroll processing and benefits administration across APAC countries including India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, China, and Japan.
- Manage a team of payroll and benefits professionals while ensuring compliance with local regulations, conducting audits, and resolving escalated payroll and benefits issues.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, and external vendors to improve payroll accuracy, oversee vendor management, and support regional payroll accounting and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive payroll and benefits experience with significant responsibility across multiple APAC countries.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting payroll operations in India and other APAC jurisdictions (Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, China, Japan).
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working within multinational or global organizations with complex multi-jurisdiction payroll environments.
- Strong knowledge of payroll taxation, statutory requirements, social insurance, and employment regulations in APAC.
- Familiarity with enterprise HRIS platforms (Oracle HCM, Workday, SuccessFactors) and managing third-party payroll providers and benefits vendors.
