About This Role
- Own the architectural vision, production design, and lifecycle management of the Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP) ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Lead capacity expansion and execute non-disruptive platform upgrades, including major RHOSP version upgrades and transition to OpenShift.
- Architect and optimize backend infrastructure components such as storage, networking (OVN/OVS, DPDK), and enforce platform security and compliance standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 9+ years technical/engineering experience with 5+ years hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining RHOSP in enterprise or service-provider environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Administration or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), hypervisor tuning, OpenStack Director/TripleO deployment, and advanced automation skills including Ansible and Python scripting.
- Deep knowledge of SDN topologies, OVN/OVS, BGP/MPLS, L2/L3 networking, DPDK/SR-IOV data-path acceleration; Red Hat OpenStack certifications preferred.
