About This Role
- Maintain and evolve critical engineering software tools used in nuclear and energy plant design and operation.
- Develop robust, scalable software components while ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with nuclear safety standards.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to engineering data and software usability; contribute to testing and quality assurance activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in software engineering, focusing on engineering tools or similar applications.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or STEM field with emphasis on engineering software development.
- Experience developing and maintaining Windows desktop applications using Fortran, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- Knowledge of numerical/scientific computing applied to engineering and familiarity with software development lifecycle and modern tools (Git, unit testing, CI, Agile).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in engineering software tools development with practical knowledge of nuclear or high-safety energy sectors.
- Comfortable working independently on technical problems, analyzing complex engineering data, and delivering quality code.
- Able to collaborate effectively in international, multidisciplinary teams with clear communication supported by factual rationale.
