About This Role
- Design, code, and configure moderate complexity software solutions using Agile methodology, including AI-assisted development while ensuring correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Debug and resolve software issues independently, performing root cause analysis and applying systematic debugging practices with AI tool assistance.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipeline changes for Azure cloud deployments; mentor junior engineers on AI-assisted development tools and participate in source code management decisions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 6 years total software development experience, with 2 years leadership experience preferred and 4 years product and domain experience preferred.
- Expertise in Java or .NET, object-oriented design, XML/XSLT, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5/CSS, and relational databases.
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or equivalent), and automated testing frameworks.

- Experienced software engineer with significant hands-on skills in AI-assisted development tools and ability to mentor others on their effective use.
- Strong background in Insurance domain with proficiency in Duck Creek suite applications and operational understanding of software product development lifecycle under Agile.
- Capable of independent problem-solving on moderately complex software solutions, with leadership experience guiding code quality and source code management in a collaborative environment.
