About This Role
- Implement architectural designs and build documentation for Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP) to support evolving business requirements.
- Manage lifecycle including non-disruptive platform upgrades, capacity scaling, and performance tuning of the virtualization platform.
- Support automation/orchestration, core backend infrastructure integration (storage, OVN/OVS, DPDK), and enforce platform security and compliance standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with 3+ years hands-on designing, deploying, and maintaining RHOSP in enterprise or service-provider environments.
- Proven expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, hypervisor tuning, OpenStack Director/TripleO deployment, Ansible automation, Python scripting, and API usage.
- Deep knowledge of SDN, OVN/OVS, BGP/MPLS, L2/L3 networking, DPDK/SR-IOV acceleration; preferred RHCE or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenStack certification.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced engineer skilled in large scale RHOSP platform design, deployment, and lifecycle management with proactive capacity planning.
- Strong background in automation and orchestration using Ansible and Python to enhance platform performance and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity or experience with integrating emerging technologies like Red Hat OpenShift and transitioning OpenStack Services to container platforms.
