About This Role
- Own product strategy and measurable outcomes for Customer Support (CS) and Trust & Safety (TnS) tools and workflows, defining vision, roadmap, and success metrics.
- Lead product discovery and delivery from clear PRDs, prioritizing features, managing projects end-to-end, and aligning engineering and operational teams.
- Leverage AI to improve CS and TnS products, enhance support quality and operational productivity, and bridge communication between Japan-based stakeholders and India engineering teams in Japanese and English.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in product management or related role with hands-on digital product delivery.
- Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N3 or above with strong conversational skills for stakeholder discussions.
- Experience in defining measurable product outcomes, creating roadmaps, PRDs, and managing cross-functional projects.
- Working knowledge of SQL or similar analytical tools and practical experience using AI tools in product workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven capability in balancing customer experience, operational efficiency, risk, and business priorities within digital product roles.
- Experience working with marketplaces, e-commerce, seller platforms, or B2C products, ideally with exposure to CS, TnS, or compliance workflows.
- Comfortable working in distributed, multicultural teams, operating bilingually (Japanese and English) to align cross-geography product development.
