About This Role
- Integrate and connect industrial machines, equipment, and IoT devices using protocols and tools like OPC-UA, MQTT, Kepware, OPC Router, and Node-RED.
- Deploy and configure the Unified Namespace (UNS) stack including HiveMQ, Sparkplug, and HighByte to manage industrial data flows.
- Design and deploy supervision dashboards with Grafana and Ignition, while supporting operator training and troubleshooting for connected assets.
Minimum Requirements
- 8 to 9 years of relevant experience in shopfloor automation, machine integration, SCADA/HMI, or manufacturing execution.
- Strong hands-on experience with OPC UA, MQTT, Sparkplug B, Kepware, Ignition, Node-RED, HiveMQ, HighByte, Grafana, and industrial communication protocols such as Modbus and Profinet.
- Proven experience working directly on the shopfloor with PLCs and SCADA systems; pure IT experience is insufficient.
- Work Experience Required: 8–9 years in relevant shopfloor automation and machine connectivity roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep practical expertise with at least two core technologies from OPC UA, MQTT, Kepware, and Ignition.
- Comfortable explaining and implementing Unified Namespace (UNS) concepts, including normalizing data across different machine brands.
- Experienced operating in industrial environments with direct equipment connectivity and data flow management on the factory floor.
