About This Role

Lead the design, build, and optimization of cloud-based data platforms, primarily the Integrated Data Store (IDS) supporting UAE operational and regulatory requirements.

Provide technical leadership and enforce software engineering strategy and standards aligned with business objectives.

Mentor junior software development team members and ensure project delivery aligns with architecture, governance, and IT strategy standards.

Minimum Requirements

8+ years of software/data engineering experience with cloud-native data solutions.

Proficient in AWS services including Glue, S3, IAM, KMS, Cloudwatch; strong skills in ETL/ELT pipeline development.

Proficiency in Python (mandatory) and SQL (preferred); experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Data Engineering, or related field.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced in cloud data engineering leadership within regulated or complex multi-region environments, ideally with UAE regulatory data exposure.

Strong hands-on expertise with AWS cloud technologies, automation, and CI/CD tools.

Able to lead and mentor technical teams and drive architecture-compliant, scalable data solutions in agile iterative delivery settings.
