About This Role
- Architect and govern highly available, resilient, and secure enterprise database platforms in AWS and GCP clouds.
- Lead reliability, performance, scalability, and lifecycle management of Microsoft SQL Server and drive migrations to PostgreSQL and cloud-native databases.
- Develop automated database lifecycle frameworks (provisioning, patching, backup validation, failover testing) using Infrastructure as Code and configure CI/CD pipelines for database release automation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years experience in enterprise relational database platform design, support, and management, with extensive public cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) exposure.
- Mandatory experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration, incident response, root cause analysis, and database DevOps practices like schema versioning and release automation.
- Mandatory Microsoft SQL Server certification or demonstrated equivalent experience.

- Senior technical leader with expertise bridging database engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and DevOps to support cloud-first, enterprise healthcare applications.
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing enterprise technical standards while managing legacy database migrations to modern cloud-native or open-source platforms.
- Capable of strategic technical influence across engineering teams, balancing urgent operational needs with forward-looking database platform innovations in regulated environments.
