About This Role
- Plan and execute test strategies for Crosswork Network Controller releases ensuring end-to-end validation of customer and solution use cases.
- Develop and maintain Python-based automation for GUI, REST API, platform, network-device, and service workflows to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Validate integrated solution behavior across multiple aspects including installation, upgrades, service provisioning, scalability, and failure recovery, while driving defect resolution and communicating release risks.
Minimum Requirements
- 4 to 8 years work experience in quality engineering or related roles involving network automation products.
- Strong Python automation skills focused on scalable test frameworks and REST API testing with JSON integrations.
- Strong IP networking knowledge including routing protocols, MPLS, Segment Routing, TCP/IP, and VPN services with hands-on device configuration and troubleshooting in multivendor environments.
- Proficient in Linux/Unix, API troubleshooting, log analysis, and experience with distributed or containerized environments testing.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in quality engineering for distributed network management or automation products with a focus on functional, integration, regression, resiliency, scale, and upgrade testing.
- Able to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and customer-facing teams to define acceptance criteria and improve test automation and coverage.
- Comfortable working with complex network technologies and automation tools, and capable of translating customer use cases into comprehensive test plans and release quality metrics.
