About This Role
- Design, build, and scale backend microservices and event-driven components using Java 17+ for a high throughput, low latency financial platform.
- Own end-to-end delivery from design through production, including production operations such as monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Implement security, compliance controls, and ensure reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance using AWS and CI/CD practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 9+ years professional backend Java experience including Core Java, concurrency, and JVM internals.
- Experience with Capital Markets, trading, market data, or financial analytics domain.
- Hands-on AWS production experience with at least 3 services: ECS/EKS/Lambda, RDS/Aurora, S3, SQS/SNS/MSK/Kinesis, CloudWatch, IAM.
- Strong PostgreSQL skills including schema design, indexing, query optimization, transactions, and locking.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing fault tolerant distributed systems with resilience patterns like circuit breakers, retries, and backpressure.
- Proficient in Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security) and modern API design (REST/gRPC).
- Comfortable operating in a regulated financial environment emphasizing security, auditability, and compliance controls.
