About This Role
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and procurement transformations, delivering value capture and cost-saving strategies for clients.
- Manage client accounts and lead teams, ensuring project success and maintaining quality standards while mentoring junior staff.
- Drive procurement process improvements, leveraging analytics, AI tools, and innovative sourcing strategies to optimize operations and supplier management.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree mandatory; full-time master's degree (MBA in Operations/Strategy preferred) is required.
- 9+ years of overall work experience with 6-8+ years specifically in procurement, category management, or sourcing strategy.
- Experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, Chemicals, or allied industries with direct materials sourcing exposure (APIs, excipients, chemicals) and GMP-compliant supply chain knowledge.
- Proficiency in digital procurement platforms (SAP Ariba, Coupa), data analytics tools (Power BI, SQL, Python), and experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, GenAI).
