About This Role
- Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications supporting card management and payment processing including transaction processing, reconciliation, and settlement.
- Design, test, and deliver mainframe solutions ensuring regulatory compliance, security, and reliability in a high-volume transaction environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for production support, code reviews, modernization initiatives, and continuous improvement of development standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise mainframe application development and support.
- Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, IMS DB/DC, CICS, VSAM, IMS, DB2, and MQ Series.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience delivering solutions in regulated, high-volume transaction processing environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in regulated financial services or payment processing domains with hands-on mainframe expertise.
- Skilled in debugging and deployment tools like File-Aid, InSync, Xpediter, and Endevor indicating operational depth.
- Capable of working with modernization efforts including API integration and legacy system transformation in complex enterprise settings.
