About This Role
- Plan, design, and execute a broad range of testing (functional, regression, API, integration, performance, exploratory) across digital products including web, mobile, portals, chatbots, and integrations.
- Establish and operate Quality Lifecycle Management including release workflows, quality gates, test strategies, and automated test coverage integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Engage with end users (farmers, field teams, supply chain) to translate real-world conditions into acceptance criteria and quality standards, manage defect lifecycle and root cause analysis within agile teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance for web and mobile applications covering functional, regression, API, integration, performance and exploratory testing.
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and API/performance testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, JMeter).
- Experience defining release flows, quality gates, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and using defect/test management tools like Jira.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong expertise in establishing and improving quality assurance practices beyond manual testing, including test automation and AI-assisted QA workflows.
- Comfortable working in international, multicultural, mission-driven environments, preferably with exposure to agriculture, supply chain, ERP/CRM systems, or low-connectivity conditions.
- Operates well embedded in agile squads, managing defect triage and continuous quality improvement, engaging directly with diverse end users to ensure product usability in challenging real-world contexts.
