About This Role
- Build and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, implementing new features from product/design requirements.
- Integrate backend services via REST APIs and ensure application stability through debugging and performance improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate closely with backend, product, and design teams to deliver polished mobile experiences.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-2 years of professional Android development experience.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and strong understanding of Android SDK and application lifecycle.
- Experience with Android Studio, REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, authentication, and Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData/StateFlow, Navigation, Room).
- Familiarity with Git, software development workflows, and ability to troubleshoot/debug independently.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Able to take features from requirements through to implementation and manage changes in existing codebases without introducing regressions.
- Experienced with clean, maintainable code practices and proactive problem investigation rather than deferring issues.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment integrating backend and design inputs for mobile product development.
