About This Role
- Design, code, and configure solutions for moderate complexity Agile stories with limited guidance, leveraging AI-assisted development tools while ensuring correctness and security.
- Debug and resolve moderate complexity software bugs independently using systematic practices, including AI-assisted investigation.
- Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipeline changes for cloud-based Azure deployments; provide guidance to junior engineers and participate in code reviews and source code management decisions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 10 years total software development experience; at least 6 years leadership experience and 4+ years product and domain experience preferred.
- Expertise in object-oriented design and development using Java or .NET, relational databases, XML/XSLT, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or equivalent), automated testing frameworks, and hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior software engineer with leadership exposure and deep knowledge of Agile software lifecycle in the insurance domain specifically P&C insurance.
- Comfortable independently overseeing moderate complexity projects, debugging, cloud infrastructure automation, and mentoring others on responsible AI-assisted coding.
- Skilled in managing deadlines, communication within teams, and balancing independent work with collaborative code reviews and source control management.
