About This Role
- Lead sprint delivery for a team of 6–12 engineers, managing planning, dependencies, risks, and release readiness.
- Review code and AI-generated outputs to ensure problem-solving effectiveness and maintain architectural decisions and incident response.
- Coach and develop engineering team members, run performance feedback and development plans, and influence cross-team technical decisions without direct authority.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years software engineering experience with 2+ years managing teams of 5 or more.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proficient in Python or Java with strong fundamentals in data structures, design patterns, and OOP.
- Experience with platform, API, data, or infrastructure engineering; familiar with distributed systems, data pipelines, or APIs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in running platform or infrastructure teams serving internal engineering customers.
- Skilled at coaching individual contributors through promotions with concrete examples.
- Practical experience working with AI-assisted engineering workflows and effective review of AI-generated outputs.
