Experience with tape and DASD management, including backup/restore, SMS rules, ACS routines, and disaster recovery processes.
Candidate must be able to work in customer time zones (US, Europe, Asia Pacific) including on-call support on weekends and holidays. Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
Experienced in operational oversight and technical leadership of complex mainframe storage systems supporting multiple LPARs and CECs.
Skilled in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and proactive problem prevention in production mainframe environments.
Acclimated to dynamic, customer-focused environments requiring coordination across global teams and flexible work hours.
