About This Role
- Own and assess the architecture and reliability of on-premises data center infrastructure including Nutanix hyperconverged systems, VMware virtualization, and NSX software-defined networking.
- Design, plan, and lead disaster recovery tests, failover drills, and data center migration activities, driving permanent architectural fixes and resilience improvements.
- Collaborate with SRE, network, security, and cloud teams to analyze incidents, lead blameless post-mortems, reduce operational toil through automation, and advise leadership on infrastructure risk and roadmap.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–13 years of hands-on experience in on-premises data center infrastructure, virtualization, and hyperconverged platform operations, particularly in large-scale, mission-critical environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent).
- Strong expertise with Nutanix (AOS, Prism, AHV), VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter/vSAN, and VMware NSX networking and security.
- Work Location: Pune; Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office per week).
