About This Role
- Design, code, and configure software solutions for moderate complexity Agile stories using AI-assisted tools with critical validation.
- Debug and resolve moderate complexity software issues independently applying systematic debugging practices.
- Write automated unit and integration tests, contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based deployments (Azure).
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Sciences, or related field.
- 6+ years total software development experience with minimum 4 years required, including at least 2 years product experience and domain experience each.
- Expertise in object-oriented design, Java or .NET development, relational databases, and modern web technologies (XML/XSLT, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS).
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience with Duck Creek Policy, Billing, Claims, Engagement, or Data Insights products preferred (2+ years).
- Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) with mature judgment on code validation.
- Ability to work independently with guidance in Agile SDLC environments and familiarity with insurance domain knowledge.
