Niche embedded RF/LoRaWAN senior role in Bangalore with limited applicant pool.
Highly specialized embedded firmware and RF skills limit transferability across industries.
Requires 8+ years and specific embedded, ARM, RTOS, RF, and LoRaWAN expertise, making filters strict.
Lead design and architecture of ARM-based MCU/MPU firmware for Smart RF Amplifiers, Nodes, and Remote Telemetry Modules, focusing on bare-metal and RTOS environments.
Develop and optimize low-level drivers and RF control algorithms (AGC, ALC, tilt compensation) integrating with hardware and RF teams for board bring-up and debugging.
Design and maintain LoRaWAN wireless telemetry stacks and collaborate cross-functionally with US-based hardware and firmware teams for system validation.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of embedded software engineering experience with proven technical leadership or Staff Engineer role.
Deep expertise in ARM Cortex architecture and advanced C/C++ programming; expert knowledge of RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr) and bare-metal firmware.
Practical experience with RF hardware control (attenuators, equalizers), AGC algorithms, LoRaWAN protocol integration, and hardware debugging tools (Keil, GDB, JTAG, logic analyzers).
Senior embedded engineer with strong cross-disciplinary skills bridging firmware and RF hardware co-design and debugging.
Experienced in end-to-end ARM-based system firmware architecture including memory and performance optimization under real-time constraints.
Skilled in collaborative development with remote teams, especially US-based hardware and firmware groups, on complex wireless telemetry platforms.
